TANGLED UP joins the KNIFE HITS family with SILK EMBROIDERED LIGHT

As 2022 churns along we are thrilled to take a break from the doom and gloom to announce this bad ass bright spot of an album from TANGLED UP as they join the KNIFE HITS family.

Featuring members from Delaware-based bands Grace Vonderkuhn, Cave Life, and EyeBawl, Philadelphia band Tangled Up is clearly a sibling of those projects while forging their own path. Combining elements of aggressive noise rock with some of the more melodic elements of grunge rock, the four-piece band is both musically proficient while striking a creative balance between many genres. Fans of bands like Metz and Protomartyr will enjoy thoroughly. This newest material sees them at their most focused and adding elements almost akin to a heavier Fugazi and most definitely bands from The Jesus Lizard school of thought. Low hanging fruit band comparisons aside... this is heavy, focused, hook-laden, and it rips.
