FIGHT AMPUTATION - 'Ugly Kids Doing Ugly Things' out JUNE 12 for the first time on cassette

Well here it is. After talking about this project for years I finally pulled the trigger and I’m releasing the first ever cassette reissue of the debut Fight Amputation EP ‘Ugly Kids Doing Ugly Things’. First released in 05, this is the release that cemented the path that Fight Amp would go down show and album-wise moving forward.... weird, fucked up sludgy hardcore punk noise rock that was ill defined by it’s fans and peers until the end. Or as the original press release put it, “11 righteous minutes of manic rage that leave no option but to bang your head in the mighty name of narcotics and Satan.”

We recorded this thing in 04 with Will Killingsworth (Orchid, Bucket Full Of Teeth) and slept in a frozen van in Amherst MA during the whole process. And just to keep it weird, we took this raw recording and went and sat in with the master of mastering Alan Douches in his posh studio. You know, for contrast.
